Can Pi Network prove its worth once fully tradable, or is it just hype?

Can Pi Network prove its worth once fully tradable, or is it just hype? With millions of users mining Pi through mobile apps, the project promises accessibility and eco‑friendly crypto adoption. But until the Open Network phase is complete and tokens gain liquidity on exchanges, its true value remains uncertain. Will Pi evolve into a real Web3 ecosystem with dApps and payments, or fade as another speculative experiment?

Pi Network definitely has potential, but the real test starts when it becomes genuinely liquid and widely usable. Having millions of users is impressive, but user count alone doesn’t guarantee value. Pi needs real-world utility, active developers, DApps, payments, and enough exchange liquidity to support genuine demand. If the ecosystem delivers on those points, Pi could become more than a speculative project. If not, the hype will probably fade once the novelty wears off. Ultimately, adoption and utility—not the size of the mining community—will determine whether Pi is actually worth something.
